Finding support that suits you
Surrounding yourself with support while staying free.

Identify different types of support and prepare questions before committing.
Needs and people to turn to
A loved one can offer company. A discussion group can provide opportunities to meet others. A health professional can help with distress, assess symptoms or support recovery. These roles differ and can complement one another.
Before joining a group, ask about confidentiality, moderation, any costs and the option to remain silent. The presence of accounts similar to yours does not guarantee that this setting will suit you.
Keeping your freedom of choice
You can ask: what is your training? What exactly do you offer? What is the cost, and can I stop? How is information stored? A clear answer helps you decide without having to commit at the first conversation.
Keep some distance from promises of certain healing, imposed interpretations, financial pressure or invitations to stop a treatment. You can seek another opinion. Someone supporting you must be able to respect your doubts and your refusal.
Saying what is becoming difficult
You can ask for help with very concrete difficulties: “I'm sleeping badly,” “I can no longer work,” “The memories overwhelm me.” You do not need to have resolved the question of the NDE's meaning.
If you feel in immediate danger or can no longer keep yourself safe, contact your country's emergency services or someone you trust who can stay with you. This course does not respond to emergencies, and the note fields are not monitored.

Near-Death Experience — Marie de SOLEMNE 2015
The “Companionship” chapter of this interview is a starting point for reflecting on another person's presence. Your choice of support may be different.
Listen for: What quality of listening are you seeking, and what boundaries do you wish to preserve?
You can complete this step without video. The selection is based on published descriptions and chapters. Spoken video content has not been reviewed in full. Statements remain those of the speakers.

My circle of support
Build a short list you can keep close at hand.
- Note someone to contact for company or practical help.
- Add a professional or health service you already know, if you have one.
- Prepare three questions for a possible group or support person.
- Identify one first step without any obligation to commit.
YOUR NOTEBOOK
A few words for yourself.
One question, a few words or no writing at all is enough. Your answers are neither submitted nor saved. Export them before changing pages if you wish to keep them. You can also write in your own notebook.
I can seek support based on my needs, with clear boundaries.
