Our approach
A Collectif Point Zéro projectWhy this
space exists.
Our mission
Make near-death experiences accessible to everyone seeking to understand them.
Point Zéro brings together testimonies, scientific work and resources for life after an NDE in one shared space.
What changes after an NDE
An NDE does not end with what happened in the moment. It can change a person's relationship with death, loved ones, work or beliefs. Talking about it is not always easy, especially when you fear being misunderstood.
We want to make room for these voices and for what comes afterwards. For someone who has had an NDE, for a loved one wondering how to listen, or simply for anyone with questions.
Resources for life after an NDEThe subject today
A subject becoming more accessible
Books, podcasts, videos and social media bring these experiences to audiences far beyond specialist circles. You can discover an account in seconds, then look into what research has to say about it.
This access changes the conversation. It also makes context essential: who is speaking? Is this a personal experience, an interpretation or a scientific finding? Providing that context is the work we do here.
A global phenomenon
Stories from around the world
NDE accounts are collected across languages and cultures. Some themes recur; the words, beliefs and meanings attached to the experience vary. Bringing them together allows us to explore similarities without erasing differences.
Our starting point is French-speaking. Our sources also come from elsewhere: international archives, research teams and people sharing their experiences.
NDERF's multilingual archivesHow we present sourcesOur editorial guidelines
Respect the testimony
We respect the words and beliefs of the person sharing their story. A testimony describes a lived experience; it cannot, on its own, establish a scientific explanation.
Identify the sources
Research is linked to its publication. We distinguish observations, hypotheses and interpretations, including when a question remains open.
Obtain consent
An account shared privately is not published without consent. Integration resources offer editorial points for reflection, not personalized clinical care.
